My mission in my business is to create a safe space for you to Learn. For people to Feel Heard, to Be Helped, and to be that someone constantly in their corner cheering them on.
This guide is for the dreamer just starting out and daydreaming about the life they want. Photography was this for me, too, at the beginning. An escape and a huge dream, so I know where you are coming from. It can all feel overwhelming to know exactly what steps to take to become legal, what gear to buy, backup systems, insurance, etc.
This guide is designed for easy-to-follow steps and information to start your business off on the right foot on the backend, so you can have confidence going into sessions and focus on your art.
You are here to improve your craft and give wedding clients the best experience possible. This guide will help you plan before the wedding day even begins. To understand how long segments of the day take to photograph so you can plan and schedule accordingly, alleviating stress on the couple.
This guide will help you feel more confident when communicating your time requirements with your couples.

“I’ve been following Mary’s work ever since she started photography. Since day one, she has been one of my creative inspirations! I scheduled a mentor session with her when I decided to pursue photography full-time. And let me tell you, I wouldn’t know half of what I know if it wasn’t for her. She educated me on everything from Lightroom to storage to bookkeeping. She made difficult concepts 100x more understandable and had an answer for every question I asked her.”
“I’ve never met someone so encouraging and uplifting!”
Alyssa J Photography
“She is so selfless and willing to do whatever she can to help others be successful! She is creative and constantly challenges herself to improve, which is inspiring to watch. From just a small amount of time working with her, I have learned so much to better myself as a photographer. She is not only an amazing photographer but also an amazing mentor/teacher.”
“Mary is an absolute joy to work with.”

For photographers who want to perfect their craft, achieve work-life balance, and find joy in creating a meaningful business model. I have spent the last 7 years perfecting my craft and client experience, but during that time, I have made mistakes and learned so many valuable lessons.
Mentorships are created for photographers who are ready to propel their business. Education is an investment in yourself, and that is something you will never regret. My mentorships are customizable to your business needs with three tiers. Monthly memberships include deep diving into your business and you have me by your side the whole time helping you out. The second tier is a full day mentorship that includes a styled shoot of your choice (family, couples, weddings) with a focus on posing and editing. The final tier is a one hour zoom call covering as many topics as we can to help elevate your business.

Congratulations, you are engaged and have all of the vendors booked, the perfect dress picked out, tuxes envisioned, and you are on Pinterest any chance you get. There becomes a bit of a ‘lull’ in the planning process when you get all the big things done, and now it is time to focus on the day's little details. Which almost seems overwhelming; where do you even start?
This guide is for you to continue to plan during that time. It will help you envision your day from a photographer’s perspective to ensure you have time for the most important things. It will also cover things that may set you back in the timeline so you can prepare ahead of time. The goal is to feel relaxed and truly enjoy your wedding day as a bride, not a host or wedding planner.
